The McKenzie Wedge is the perfect choice for kayakers, with 5/16" poly rope or 1/4" Spectra. The Rogue and Willamette sizes are great for rafters, with 7/16" poly rope or 3/8" Spectra.

I needed a new throw bag to replace my aging NRS Compact Rescue bag, and was recommended this by a Swiftwater Instructor Lee Baker. Needless to say, the second I tested out his bag and checked out some of the features, I was sold. The roll-top & wide mouth means easy rope release, with an even easier time repacking the bag. Bright colors mean the bag is highly visible in water & in a rescue situation where the victim may only see it for a second before being underwater. Customizability of the bag is awesome too. I purchased the McKenzie Wedge 70' w/ the Spectra rope, and it fits perfectly in my boat right in front of me for easy, quick access in rescue situations. Overall, can't recommend this enough. If you're in the market for a new throw bag, give this a go.
