Footcups allow rafters a stable place to put their feet, leaving their hands free for paddling. The boot’s closed end makes it impossible for a foot to slip through. We put extra reinforcement webbing on the inside corners where the arch strap attaches to the base — that’s where the stress is greatest. The boot is stitched to raft floor material and reinforced with 1" poly webbing around the base and 1.5" webbing over the arch.
